Since 2021, the Ural Mathematical Center has been providing financial support for the Ural Mathematical Journal (UMJ). UMJ is a high-quality peer-reviewed electronic journal dedicated to innovative research in mathematics, mechanics, theoretical computer science, computational and optimization engineering, and control theory.
The Ural Mathematical Journal helps Russian and foreign specialists exchange ideas, establish new scientific contacts, and conduct important joint research.
The journal was founded by the N.N. Krasovsky Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (http://imm.uran.ru) together with the Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia B.N. Yeltsin (http://urfu.ru) in 2015 as an electronic scientific publication.
The journal is a periodical, published twice a year, in July and December. The language of publication is English. The publication is free of charge for all authors. Each article in the journal is assigned a DOI (Digital Object Identifier). The full-text version of the journal is freely accessible on the journal website. Also the materials of the journal are published on the RSCI platform of electronic library eLIBRARY.ru and on the Russian mathematical portal Math-Net.Ru.
Ural Mathematical Journal is included in the databases Scopus, MathSciNet (Mathematical Reviews), Zentralblatt MATH (zbMATH), and in the Directory of Open Access Journals DOAJ.
